Article I: Implementation of the Oaths

\- I.I: All of the following seats must, at the beginning of their legal Term, perform their respective oath of office.

\- I.II: The oaths shall be performed within the Official Teen Government SMP (Subreddit Main Page).

\- I.III: An AMA-style post shall be made by the Press Minister labeled “\[Insert Election Month and/or Year\] Swearing In Ceremony,” in which the official shall be administered the Oath by the appropriate figure.

\- I.IV: In the case that the Press Minister position is vacant, the order of priority for making the AMA post shall go: Incumbent President, incumbent Vice President, incumbent Ombudsman.

Article II: Administer of Oaths

\- II.I: The Chief Justice shall administer the Oath of Office to the President and Vice President.

\- II.II: After being sworn in, the Vice President shall swear in all other government positions.

\- II.III: If both the position of Chief Justice and Vice President were to be vacant, any Justice may administer the oath.

\- II.IV: Once it has been legally mandated for the individual to take office, they shall take the oath before assuming the roles and responsibilities of the position.

\- II.V: The President shall take the Presidential Oath. Ministers, Councilmembers, and Justices shall take the Constitutional Oath. Justices and Ombudsman shall take the Judicial Oath. Ombudsman shall take their respective oath.

Article III: Oaths

\- III.I: Presidential Oath: "I, {Username}, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of Teengovia, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of Teengovia."

\- III.II: Constitutional Oath: “I, {Username}, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of Teengovia against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.”

\- III.III: Judicial Oath: “I, {Username}, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as (insert role), according to the best of my abilities and understanding, agreeably to the constitution and laws of Teengovia.”

\- III.IV: Ombudsman Oath: “I {Username}, oath to uphold my proper duties, as to properly investigate, without bias, greed, or misuse of my position, and to see to it all proper investigations are upheld."

Article IV: Transition Period

\- IV.I: Until the oath is taken for this office with a limit of 72 hours, the previous office holder maintains the authority of office.

\- IV.II: The previous Council shall hold their seats until the newly elected Council has been sworn in.

\- IV.III: If the official designated to administer the Oath refuses to comply, they shall be barred from office for a month.

Article V: Enactment of the Amendment

\- V.I: This amendment shall go into effect immediately upon passage .
