If terms are increased to 3 months, that would just be 4 elections a year from what I understand.
That would be bad for the sub.

Thereād need to be council elections every month to keep things fresh. Maybe extend consecutive council term limits to at least survive through a presidential term?

Perhaps.
That may work, but it would be better, according to me, if the status-quo remains (apart from raising the maximum number of presidential terms from 2 to a larger number).

Even that would be too long. The sub needs more engagement to grow and making presidential terms 2 months will be an issue with that in mind.
Sometimes, direct democracy is not good in my honest opinion.
