Following former Councilmember and server owner Dizzy‘s return on the Teengovernment Discord, debate has been ongoing about a controversial move current Discord owner Schrodingding made in response to her return. A few months ago, the main TG server owner and mod Dizzy left TG to take a break. She has only been spotted residing in the Entertainment server and hosting games with TG members, until now. Today, Dizzy returned to the main Discord, which prompted current owner, mod, and Dizzy’s successor Schrodinger to grant Dizzy mod access for “a few hours,” as she was the previous owner. Debate around this decision began when Schrodinger sent a message stating “DIZZY, YOURE MOD NOW,” right after Dizzy rejoined the server. Specifically, TG member Lurker was very outspoken on this issue, mentioning “That shouldn’t be legal,” and “Did Dizzy win?” Lurker called out Schrodinger’s decision to give Dizzy mod as undemocratic, as Dizzy was given mod without a formal election nor an official announcement. Many other members also voiced their concern over this issue, with President Bob saying “…mods could cause issues where rules are made undemocratically,” and user Soundwave noting “that’s not a good precedent.” Mods Schrodinger and Tricky defended their actions, saying it was a “welcome gift” for Dizzy for her return to TG and that TG should have some more fun. This debate later intensified as it was revealed that head mod Schrodinger had jokingly removed the mod perms of another mod, Tricky, for 10 minutes. This led many to call out the decision as undemocratic and dangerous to the server. The debate has since subsided following increased pressure on the Mods to remove Dizzy’s mod permissions, to which they complied. This debate has been another showdown between Lurker and Tricky, who have had increasingly aggressive, petty, and often debates. As tensions grow between them, we will see what happens next. If I got any information wrong pls lmk and I’ll change it

I was performing for my fucking school concert band (trumpet supremacy) in the final concert of the year, and this happens. I don't know if I should be glad or sad that I'm leaving.
