The VIES party bill is unconstitutional and a clear power grab. I agree more with DIP's and susamogus's prop.
So here's mine.
Susamongus's bill
A party can be created when 3 or more people agree to create one singular party.
If it is 1 person, they should be named an independent, an not have a one man party.
If it is 2 people, they will remain as independents but may agree to form an alliance.
I think this is a fairly easy to remember rules that will help unclutter the sub somewhat.
All parties formed or pre-existing will remain unimpeded
DIP's bill
Article 1: Any group of three or more citizens have the right to create a party by creating a post stating their party name and founding members.
Article 2: Every census period, parties must publish a census of ALL registered members’ usernames.
Article 3: Any two or more parties may create a coalition between themselves, but a coalition may not have a combined membership count more than 200% of the largest party.
Article 4: Existing parties will have a 2 week grace period after the first census to sort out membership to ensure they meet regulations.
My bill:
Censuses will be held every month. It will be the duty of party leaders to conduct censuses.
No party can exceed 50% of the sub's population and if they do they will be capped
