With us recently making contact with other polsim subreddits, I believe it is crucial to reevaluate how we choose our council members, presidents, and possibly ambassadors if we choose to keep relations with other subreddits. I propose that any candidate running for any office in our subreddit, CANNOT be an active member or past nor present holder of office in another subreddit. This is to prevent a potential problem with conflict of interests becoming a factor in how decisions are made.

 For example, i saw a post earlier from someone of the Lion Party and they were putting themselves out to be chosen as an ambassador for us, to the DoR. In that post, he/she/they explained the experience they had and part of that was holding a political position in one of the other polsim subreddits. These ties to the other subreddits may affect their decision-making. This kind of influence from the other polsim subreddits is already leaking into our very own government and nation, and we haven’t even decided if we’re going to join their map yet.

I made this bill myself and realize it may be flawed and need revisions so i am open to all criticism for it and would love to see it progress further.
