As tensions rise in the sub despite many attempts of de-escalation, I want to prevent another scenario where a war is declared without any end in sight, thus, I, roemaencepartnaer, propose the following bill to be followed in relation to in-sub wars.
To Declare War:
One must:
- Have deliberated with their party, in whatever manner typical to their party, to have support in engaging in war.
- Clearly and publicly lay out conditions for the end of the war/conditions of surrender.
- State the entity they wish to declare war against.
- Provide a reason that for the declaration of war to the public.
- Have not declared a war in the last month.
The conditions of surrender may not require:
- A permanent banning from the sub.
- The complete and permanent dissolution of a party.
- Infringements on the HRB or Constitution.
Entities that can’t be declared for war:
- You may not declare war on an individual.
- You may not declare war on a member of your party.
If Declared at War
One may:
- Initiate peace talks, which are to be mediated by a neutral third party.
- Accept the declaration.
- Ask the grounds of a war being declared and dispute them if they so wish.
War
War is to be fought in three rounds of classic games. You will set a time, if your opponent does not show within 10 minutes of the agreed upon time without prior notice it will be counted as a forfeit.
The First: War
- [https://cardgames.io/war/](https://cardgames.io/war/)
- You will click multiplayer and set your name to the one you are most commonly known as on Reddit. The two of you will play and both take a screenshot of the result, which is to be sent to either the Minister of Press, The Council, or r/Teenews.
The Second: Battleship (Sea Battle)
- You will click multiplayer and set your name to the one you are most commonly known as on Reddit. The two of you will play and both take a screenshot of the result, which is to be sent to either the Minister of Press, The Council, or r/Teenews.
- The winner of this game may pick any game for the third battle so long as it can be played online by both parties and the results have a way to be confirmed.
After the results of the third game are announced the war will end.
In the Event of Victory
- Your conditions for surrender will be fulfilled as soon as possible.
In the Event of Defeat
- You are to fulfill the conditions for surrender as soon as possible.
If passed this bill will go into effect immediately.
