 The Bob Economy Plan amendment

PREAMBLE: What if I told you we have an immense opportunity? An opportunity to make something accessible. An opportunity to make something without scandal. We have an opportunity to make something clearly truly ours. Our own game for the economy.

I have spoken with Zeedith from the ARPD, this is an achievable goal. I encourage us not to be daunted by this great task, rather excited by the expansive possibilities layed out before us.

If we refuse to take up this task I will be left asking "what we could have tried." I want to be able to say "what we have done" or even "what we attempted to do" That is why I call on council to pass this amendment and accept this quest to truly make something great for ourselves.

If I am to again use my favorite quote of my journal "fear is the enemy, fear must be be defeated by optimism and spared no quarter." (This may be done as a spoken speech on the discord later on)

Section I: The Tegovian Dollar

Article I: The Tegovian Dollar (TGD) Will be represented with a đť•‹

Article II: The Tegovian Dollar will initially be as a FIAT currency but the government can pass policy to change that if they so please

Article III: The Dollar will be minted solely by the central government

Article IV: if states are implemented, they may not print any competing currency

Article V: The central government will mint all the đť•‹ in circulation.

Section II: How businesses will operate

Article I: Any corporation, workers cooperative, or other similar enterprise, shall be considered together under the umbrella terms “Economic entity” and "businesses" which can be used by the law as needed.

Section III: Game management, and BT

Article I: A game will be made by a team of volunteers, this game will follow any Articles on this game's design

Article II: There will be a team (which will be referred to as Balance Team, or BT) which will manage the balance and any rules in the game which would not naturally be in the hands of a real government.

Article III: The BT will be appointed by the president with council approval by default, (and will likely be the programers of the game) though elections can be held at the government's discretion, structure of the BT will operate in a way determined by the government (which can include letting the team determine it independently if the government so wishes) (The BT cannot be filled by government officials but moderators can, it is not legally considered a government office)

Article IV: The actions the BT engages their authority as the Balance Team in must not be partisan in nature, solely to balance and improve the game in a fair and reasonable way.

Article V: This team can simulate natural disasters and crises if implemented

Section V Game development:

Article I: This game will be developed by a team of volunteers (which unless directly mentioned elsewhere by the law will not be considered a government position) selected by the government or current development team members.

Article II: This team will attempt to complete and maintain the game, they will do this in whatever time frame is reasonable for them

Section V: The game itself.

Article I: Variability is far more important than a strict plan, therefore the developer team shall have some freedoms in what order they implement features and many small details, but the below section will be the guidelines for how the game should be designed which can be altered by simple majority vote in council and BT majority support, or an an amendment with 2 thirds council support, but this plan cannot be intentionally deviated from independently by the team, which is the following rant:

First off we have a finite amount of land, land that can be bought and sold. And one can extract resources from certain types of land. These resources can be bought and sold as well. These resources can be used to make tools to get resources more efficiently, or make facilities to put together resources to make new resources.

How does one go about extraction and other work? By using their labor, everyone has a finite amount of labor to use every simulated day. This labor can be used on one's own land or someone else's. Someone can pay for someone else to use their labor for a job. There should be a threshold, where if one uses labor past that often they risk getting a burn out effect, forcing one not to work

Everyone would also have a certain amount of satisfaction, doing work and being hungry/thirsty reduces it, resting, using certain entertainment equipment, going to certain locations that can be made, and the consumption of some products can raise it.

Resources and labor can be used to make homes of various quality, living in one raises satisfaction.

Everyone has hunger and thirst, and must consume food and liquids or risk massive productivity debuffs.

There is also risk of injury, which by the owner of a facilities investment into some improvements it can be reduced. When injured one cannot work.

There is also illness, by working with or shopping near someone ill one can become ill. Each disease has it's own effects.

Healthcare can help remedy many of these debuffs, and reduce disease risk.

People can create corporations, which work economicly similar to people, they can own anything people can, buy, sell, and hire. Differences are that they can be owned by multiple people, and can have their rights be different from people, of course dependent on the laws by the government.

Unions should also be able to be made, dependent on government laws, to be a body which can negotiate on the behalf of the workers, and call strikes in which labor is stopped.

There should also be management, to hire people for a facility they need management, while the owners could manage one they cannot do multiple. After a certain number of managers eventually a separate manager to manage managers would be needed, as scale increases there will be more layers. To make a change it must go from the top through all of management to reach the facilities.

Also one can set routines so they can continue to work, run a business, and sustain themselves when they are away.

Also there should be a tech tree by using labor one can do research on the tech tree, though special equipment is needed for some. Once someone unlocks something it is unlocked for everyone. But depending on patent laws the inventing person or company has full rights for a time and may sell or lease out these rights. perhaps the starting tech tree at the time in further vote 3.

Also as one does a type of labor they level up that skill becoming more productive and using less labor to do the same work.

There should also be education, making one more productive and becoming able to do certain research requires some types of education. Certain advanced jobs asides research may also require certain education. Education can be administered by the government or private institutions.

The government can, if it so chooses, create SOE's (STATE OWNED ENTITIES) which can do anything a private company can do, including research, but is owned by the government.

Article II: further choices will be put up to vote by majority and will be enshrined here if passed 1. Should the economy be purely player run or should “bots” exist (mathematical players, not gen ai) 2. How should one engage in crime, should it be impossible or should the development team attempt to implement a system? 3. Should the tech tree start at year 1900 or before the industrial revolution? 4. Should BT function the moderation of the game or should a separate team be appointed/elected 4.b if 4 is "separate" than should it be elected or appointed? 5. For the week after ratification any details in article I of this section can be put up to a similar vote in council, this is so it can be changed but the government cannot constantly alter it for it's own benefit.

Article III: All citizens have the right to participate if they are able, but cannot be required participate in the economy and will not lose any rights or privileges on the sub or discord if they do not participate, asides the enjoyment of the economy.
