 So recently, I noticed that some think the sub's "population" is the number of people who have joined the subreddit (clicked the join button), while some think it is those who have filled out the census.

A lot of the people who have pressed join most likely have forgotten about the sub already, have aged out, are alt accounts, or simply clicked the button on accident.

I also noticed that if you follow the first definition, it makes bills like the Petition Act or Section 10 Article 1 and 3 of the Constitution essentially useless, as those couple hundred non active accounts will NOT sign petitions, nor join parties/make coalitions. Making the percentages required for these to become impossible to fill.

Following the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of census, it is an official survey/count of the population.

This bill will officialy make the definition of "population" in the sub to all those who have filled out the Census. So I propose:

The define population act

proposed by u/Kooky_Marketing_327 of the FUCK party on 02.15.26

    The official definition of the term "Population," will be made to mean all those who have officially registered in the Census (aka Registered Citizens),

    A defintion is added for the term "Registered Citizen," meaning a person who is a citizen that has officialy registered in the Census.

    The definition of Citizen will remain the same (see Constitition),

    The constitution, any bills, and/or laws referencing "population" shall henceforth use this definition unless otherwise explicitly defined to use another definition

    This bill will take effect immediately upon passage.

if this needs to be an amendment it'll become one as needed. open to amendment by council.
