Raw Contents:
so this is the pp (privacy protection) bill. yes i did name it the pp bill. this was to avoid people from taking screenshots of messages without their consent and sharing. its like how ur not allowed to take photos of people irl w/out consent and post online. so anyway i propose that:
the pp act
proposed by u/Kooky_Marketing_327 of the FUCK party on 02.19.26
Taking non-consensual screenshots/screen recordings of messages and distributing the photo afterward will become illegal
to take legal screenshots, you must first ask the other person if they consent (verbal/typed) to taking a screenshot. by consenting to taking ss, you also consent to it being shared. you may also request to have things changed like censoring certain parts.
screenshots being used for blackmail purpose will also become illegal. this only applies to POLITICAL blackmail and not joke blackmail (yes frog im lookin at you).
this bill will NOT apply:
to joke situations and "for fun" screenshots (example: frog's blackmail on the discord, or catching soon to be deleted horny messages on the discord)
if the name and profile and any/all identifying information is censored out (like the epstein files, yes)
if it involves something illegal (example: image of banned player confessing to alt usage)
screenshots of other images (example: reaction images)
to screenshots you do NOT plan on sharing back on in TeenGov or any associated sub or discord
to the Minister of Press and all messages in the teengov council voting and regular gc
to the official TeenGov discord/sub as everyone can freely be in it and therefore everyone can already see it.
any information gathered during LEGAL espionage
bill will be implemented immediately
This bill is open to amendment by council.
(EDIT TO LEGAL ESPIONAGE and TO TEENGOV DISCORD AND SUB)
