 hey so this is to make formal agreements we can have and make it more clear and easy to use. so i propose:

    The creation of contracts that can be signed by two or more people/groups:

    These contracts will be legally binding, meaning that breaking the contract may result in legal consequences

    contracts can include mergers, acquisitions, NDAs (non disclosure agreement), partnership contracts, or many other deals.

    2. addition of rules for contracts:

        contracts are not required to be written in full formal language.

        the groups/persons signing and proposing the contract must both completely agree on the terms/language in the contract

        contracts can take place out of SMP, like on discord

        both sides MUST record an unaltered recording of the signing of the contract like on a screenshot or a google doc

        the signer must be aware they are signing a contract for the contract to be legally binding

        to sign a contract, both sides must put their username and acknowledge they are aware it is legally binding and agree to sign the contract

        contracts do NOT have to be made public

        contracts are NOT legally binding if either side is a spy, and that user is in spy mode (actively spying on the other signing party) at the very moment. (example being a spy joining a party discord and having to sign NDA to join discord, that contract is not legally binding)

        if a contract is signed involving illegal activites, that contract is not legally binding (example being NDA to not speak about illegal activity happening)

        the courts get final say and can interpret contracts

    all contracts written before this will remain legally binding as long as both sides knew what they were signing into

    implemented immediately upon passing
