Overview: April 6th, 2026, was a day in TeenGov that we’re sure we will never forget. Protests against the politics turned personal, and many great people left TeenGovernment because of it. We wanted to create Unity Day so that we could reflect on what brought us here, and to hope to keep this community together.
Article I: Establishment of Unity Day as a Holiday
\- I.I: Unity Day shall be recognized as a holiday and will occur on the 6th of every month.
\- I.II: Unity Day shall be a day of observance, as Council and Government at large will still be in session.
Article II: Celebration of Unity Day
\- II.I: The President shall have a speech on Unity Day reflecting on TeenGovernment and the government at large.
\- II.II: The event shall be held to the standards that it is both nonpartisan and apolitical
Article III: Enactment of the Legislation
\- III.I: The Act shall go into effect upon passage.
