Sorry if this bill is a little wordy and long-winded. Tried to make sure I covered everything I could with this bill.
Article 1:
1.0: In the event that a Teen Government citizen or person who has activity in r/TeenGovernment, a TeenGov-adjacent subreddit, and/or a TeenGov-adjacent Discord server, who is being criminally prosecuted or sued, actively or otherwise, departes from r/TeenGovernment and TeenGov-adjacent subreddits and Discord servers, they cannot be forced into a trial unless they return or resume activity in those aforementioned subreddits or servers.
1.1: The individual and any alternative accounts under their possession must exit r/TeenGovernment, TeenGov-adjacent subreddits, and TeenGov-adjacent Discord servers entirely. They must press the 'leave' button or conduct a similar action to remove themselves from the list of members.
1.2: The individual may not interact with posts from the subreddit or any TeenGov-adjacent subreddits such as but not limited to r/Teengov or r/Foundteengov, nor may they join a TeenGov-adjacent Discord server.
1.3: The individual may only invoke the protections of this bill so long as they have either:
A - Created a post on r/TeenGovernment announcing their departure.
OR
B - Privately messaged the current TG President on Reddit or Discord and informed them of their departure.
Article 2:
2.0: If/when the individual resumes activity in r/TeenGovernment, TeenGov-adjacent subreddits, and/or Discord servers, their immunity is nullified.
2.1: Activity may be defined as making comments, posts, or simply being listed as a member in r/TeenGovernment or any of the TeenGov-adjacent subreddits/Discord servers. This includes activity in servers such as the Prison server or Court server.
2.2: A TeenGov-adjacent subreddit or Discord server can be defined as any TG-related chatroom or online space officially recognized by the ARPD.
This bill goes into effect immediately upon passing.
