Article 1: Possessing an unregistered firearm is a crime punishable by seizure of the firearm and a fine if needed.
Article 2: All firearms MUST be registered before ownership.
Article 3: The documentation minister will be in charge of maintain a registration database
Article 4: If necessary, especially in the case of a violation, any elected juror may order a background check.
Article 5: The same juror who ordered the check may conduct it, or pass it on to a detective agency
Article 6: Background checks may survey the following things:
-Activity against the government (IRP)
-Posts and comments that may signal violence or violent intent*
-Anything that may signal ineligibility to own a firearm mentally
Article 7: Council may exempt firearms from this legislation through simple majority
