Article XI: Settlements. Pi’s law..
11.1: Under the circumstance that both the plaintiff and defendant come to an agreement, they may request a settlement or plea deal.
11.2: A settlement is as follows.
(a) Both sides, the plaintiff and the defendant, both agree on a settlement.(b) A settlement may only be done for a(a) lump sum (may only occur if both sides are participants of the economy)(b)To change a business practice.(c) To issue an apology.(d) Or for a specific service to be doneAll settlements are considered confidential, and the contents of them may not be shared without all parties connected consenting (plaintiff/defendant)(d) A plea deal requires the following(a) The defendant pleads guilty no contest.(b) Both sides have come to an agreement on sentencing out of court.(c) For this agreement to be given to the Judge, and if approved goes through.(d) If rejected, a normal Justice sentencing is given.
11.3: Settlements and Plea deals are unappealable.
11.4: If either the plaintiff or defendant were under coercion, were not of Sound Mind, Body, and thought, or were otherwise unable to make a decision based on their own will, a plea deal may be considered null and void.
11.4.5: 11.4 is to be given an exception under the circumstance a settlement is made intentionally deceptive. Judge discretion shall occur.
11.5: Under the circumstances, 11.4 has occurred; a retrial shall occur. If it occurred after 3 months of the settlement/plea occurred then the Statute of limitations is considered expired, hence a retrial may not occur. Considered a court mistake.
11.6: The plea must be denied or accepted within the trial's time length, and must be accepted or denied within 10 minutes (maximum)
11.6: All of this article is considered to be Pi’s law, and must be called as so.
