Rule 1 will be changed to:
Harassment and hate speech shall not be tolerated in either the Teen Government Subreddit nor the Teen Government Discord server (and any other official TG spaces). Harassment is defined as attacks against an individual, that is unwanted, demeaning/belittling, and/or threatening/intimidating. Hate speech is defined as any form of communication which aims to threaten, attack, or degrade an individual or community based on personal identity such as race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, sex, or nationality.
Immediate punishment is entirely up to mod discretion (on the reddit side and discord side).
An individual who feels as though another citizen has violated this rule against them may sue in court.
Criticism is defined as an analysis of a subject’s merits and faults. Constructive criticism, which is criticism that serves to build upon an individual’s abilities, as opposed to destruct them, are not considered to be violations of this bill.
Rule 4 will be changed to:
The moderators are here ONLY to keep the peace and to ensure compliance with the rules.
They can:
Ban anyone in violation of rules
Vote in elections
Moderators cannot:
Ban people without a reason
Violate rules themselves
Rule 5: Citizens over 19 must comply with the Senior Citizens Act.
Rule 6 will be changed to:
Pedos and anyone who sexually harasses members of this sub will be permabanned after a guilty verdict at trial, and can be removed through the sub if a mod suspects they have sexually harassed a member.
Rule 10 will be changed to: Posts with the intent to spam or clog the sub or intend to collect karma are not allowed. Submissions that do not create discussion relevant to the subreddit are not allowed.
Rule 11 will be changed to:
No election fraud. Do not interfere, rig, or illegally manipulate elections.
