The Defaulted Separation of Legislature and Political Affiliation Act

20260509-1 \\ ??? words \\ Rejected \\ No summary

I'm not sure whether this is much of an unspoken rule yet, but I'm writing this bill both as insurance for potential upcoming legislature and just to make sure people feel safer writing legislature.
Article I
I. Any bill proposed to be codified into law is solely the work of the author(s) of the proposition, and not with the party(s) that they belong to unless it is explicitly stated to have the endorsement of that party in preface to the proposition.
II. Any criticism with proposed legislature is to be put up with the author(s) of the bill, and not the party they belong to, unless that party has endorsed the bill.
III. An unpopular or divisive bill cannot be used to defame another political party during campaigns, unless that party endorsed and rallied for said bill's passing.
IV. A party cannot claim a piece of legislature to be affiliated with them unless the author of the piece has stated that the party is affiliated. Similarly, an author cannot claim their piece to be affiliated with a party unless that party corroborates the association.
