Definitions:
Override: When a piece of legislation contradicts with another piece of legislation and the former takes priority over the latter when determining what is current law.
Article I: A piece of legislation which edits a previous piece of legislation shall not override any legislation passed between the passage of the original legislation and the passage of the editing legislation unless explicitly stated in the editing legislation.
Article II: This amendment shall only apply to legislation made after this amendment’s passage.
Example: Legislation C edits Legislation A, Legislation B was passed between the passage of Legislation A and the passage of Legislation C, and so Legislation B overrides Legislation C if this new amendment is passed.
