Overview: Citizens demand accountability of their officials, and this law helps to address the inability for voters to directly challenge their elected officials. The recall vote shall hope to hold officials accountable for perceived unfavorable actions taken during their tenure.
Article II - Requirements for Recall

I.I: In order for a recall election to be held, 1/6th of registered citizens must sign onto a petition to recall
I.II: All government officials are eligible for recall.
I.III: Moderators are eligible for recall.

Article II - Definition of a Recall Petition

II.I: A recall petition shall be conducted using a petition flair on Reddit.
II.II: 1/6 of registered citizens must agree to the petition under the post.
II.III: The recall petition shall be made a pinned post.
II.IV: The recall petition shall only be active for 72 hours.
II.V: Only one official may be targeted per recall petition, but multiple petitions may be made for other officials.
II.VI: Any citizen may initiate a recall petition, but one may not initiate more than one petition every two weeks.
II.VII: There may not be more than one recall petition against the same official in a week.

Article III - Definition and Process of a Recall Vote

III.I: Once the parameters of Article II have been met, the recall vote shall be initiated by the Election Minister
III.II: In the case that the Election Minister is a target for a recall vote, the vote shall be initiated by the Referendum Minister.
III.III: The recall vote shall be split into two parts. First ballot is Removal, the second ballot is Replacement.
III.IV: On the first ballot, Ministers require a 50%+1 vote, Justices & Moderators require a 60%+1 vote, and Council, President & Vice President require a 2/3rds vote for recall.
III.V: On the second ballot, anyone who declared to run for the position of the targeted elected official may be voted on as the replacement.
III.VI: The recall vote shall last for 72 hours.
III.VII: If a recall vote is successful, the targeted official must vacate their post no later than 24 hours after the recall vote has concluded.

Article IV: Running to Replace

IV.I: If a recall petition succeeds on an elected official, any citizen eligible may run for the position besides the targeted official.
IV.II: On recall of an unelected officials, the previous nomination laws shall apply.
IV.III: The office of President and Vice President cannot be replaced by recall vote, per the line of succession.
IV.IV: To prevent runoff elections, the replacement will be chosen by Ranked Choice Voting.

Article V: Enactment of the Amendment

V.I: The amendment shall take place effective immediately.
