It's not required but you'll be able to get assistance much easier there. # What to do first? 1. Look around! Chat, don't feel like you have to propose a bill or run for government right away. 2. Join [a party](https://tg.zerr.cc/parties), not sure who to join? Don't worry, it's perfectly fine to be independent. 3. Look at [what bills exist so far](https://tg.zerr.cc/bills) and [our history](https://teengovernment.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page)! 4. [Register for a voter code](https://tg.zerr.cc/s/voter-code) and [participate in the census](https://tg.zerr.cc/s/current-census), you'll need this to vote in elections. 5.
