Preface: Due to verdict ambiguity caused by resignations and other such losses of position in Council, I, u/Then_Train8542, hereby propose this constitutional amendment to clarify what happens to verdicts in the case of resignation and other such losses of position in Council.
Article I: If a former Council Member officially loses their position in Council and the powers that come with it, all votes cast by that former Council Member on any nomination, piece of legislation, or other matter put to vote by Council which had not been passed or rejected when that former Council Member lost their position in Council shall be considered void.
Article II: This amendment shall only apply to votes made after this amendment's passage.
Article III: This legislation is a constitutional amendment.
Article IV: This constitutional amendment shall come into effect as soon as it is passed.
