What's up, the SLSR is back with a new bill for an aspect of governance we have found both much needed and missing. Thank you MinecraftGuy7401 for drafting! Now, here comes:
The War Actualisation Regulations (WAR) Act
1 War is to be defined as a series of attacks planned by a government against another nation(s), with people in the military or military equipment fighting the people in military or military equipment of the other nation(s).
2 For war to be declared, it must have:
(1) A proper justification (example: They attacked our allies, they attacked us, they’re helping our enemies, etc.)
(2) A realistic way to fight (For example, if there is a polsim in real life, unless we develop a military in real life, there is no real way to fight).
(3) Real intent to attack, no joke wars.
3 In order to declare war, the following must approve a public statement:
(1) The President;
(2) the Vice President;
(3) the Foreign Minister;
(4) a supermajority of Council.
4 For war to be temporarily halted due to a ceasefire, the following must approve the ceasefire:
(1) The President;
(2) the Vice President;
(3) the Foreign Minister;
(4) a simple majority of Council;
(5) The other side(s), doing so however their process is.
5 For war to be halted due to a peace treaty, the following must approve the treaty:
(1) The President;
(2) the Vice President;
(3) the Foreign Minister;
(4) a supermajority of Council
(5) the other side(s), doing so however their process is.
