Pardon Procedures Amendment

Article 1: To pardon an individual, all of the following must hold true:
A) The President and the Vice President must both sign an official pardon and post it on the SMP.
B) The Reddit mod team and the Discord mod team must have a joint vote with a majority in favor required to proceed.
Article 2: Along with the contents of Article 1, at least one of the following must hold true:
A) The council must initiate a vote to pardon the individual and the result must be a supermajority.
B) There must be a majority vote for "aye" in a referendum held with options "Aye", "Nay" and "Abstain", with abstains (or non-voters) not counted in the number.
C) A supermajority vote of justices in favor.
Article 3: This will apply for all future pardons.
