Natural History Amendment
Preface: This addition to the earlier Biology amendment is to massively expand on the Paleontological aspect, opening many new doors in science, the tech tree, and even business.
§1: Definitions
Section preface: just to ensure no confusion.
a: Paleontology is defined as the study of extinct life.
b: Paleobiology is defined as the study of the behaviors of extinct life.
c: Paleobotany is defined as the study of extinct plant life.
d: Extinct is defined as a species which has a total of 0 alive organisms.
e: Functionally extinct is defined as a species that lacks any way to reproduce.
§2: Fossils
Section preface: much of how fossils worked has already been defined in the original Biology amendment, this will only go into more detail, and thus may restate some things
a: Fossils and preserved carcasses are available in specific dig sites across the TG map.
b: Fossils and preserved carcasses can be mined like any other material, but only at designated dig sites
c: Dig sites are considered government property and cannot be privately owned, but expeditions to mine fossils can be approved by the Minister of Ownership for either specific government teams, research groups, or even private corporations.
d: Preserved corpses can have the entire DNA strand visible, and can be cloned from.
e: Preserved corpses are 10x rather than regular fossils
f: Fossils have a 1 in 30 chance to have up to 75% of the DNA strand visible.
g: Fossils and Preserved corpses can be “described” to determine what species they belong to, or what their phenotypes may have been within 80% accuracy.
h: The “Mining License” is to be established and distributed by the Minister of Ownership.
i: to have a dig approved, anyone wanting to dig must pay an amount decided by the Minister of Ownership that must be announced when decided. The Minister of Ownership may change this amount at any time without needing approval.
j: A mining license requires a 30T payment per week, if the person with the license is unable to or refuses to pay, their license will be immediately terminated.
§3: Extinct animals
Section preface: This section will go into detail about the actual extinct animals to be added.

Section preface: this section is to describe how and when this bill is to be enacted, as well as miscellaneous articles that are needed for the bill.
a: the balance team may add new phenotypes, Genotypes, and species at any time, though it's preferable that if new phenotypes and accompanying genotypes are to be added, that they be added before this update is added to the economy.
b: this is to be coded as soon as the balance team is able, and along with the original Biology amendment.
c: Payment for Mining as well as all licenses are to be sent directly to the ownership minister and must be confirmed with a screenshot. The minister of Ownership must then confirm and send the payment to the government account.
