Given that Shrimp is such a big trade here and that we are establishing the species of Tegovia, I took it upon myself to establish the native shrimp species of Tegovia.
Article I
A. The Shrimp species of Tegovia are as follows:
Pandalus eous (Northern Shrimp)
Pandalus platyceros tegovius (Tegovian Spot Prawn)
Pandalus avantis (Avantium Shrimp)
Pandalopsis dispar (Sidestripe Shrimp)
Pandalotegovius konis (Konis Prawn - ENDANGERED)
B. The shrimp species of Tegovia will be implemented as specified in u/ThatOneFrein 's Natural History Amendment.
C. The shrimp species of Tegovia will occupy the following ranges shown on the map:
Red - Northern Shrimp
Yellow - Tegovian Spot Prawn
Turquoise - Avantium Shrimp
Purple - Sidestripe Shrimp
Green - Konis Prawn
D. Given the endangered (see Article II) status of the Konis Prawn, shrimping within its range will be made illegal, with a penalty of a 1000 T fine if caught.
Section II
A. An Endangered species is any species deemed under threat of extinction by the Tegovian government.
B. To become classified as an endangered species, a request must be made to the government, from which it will be reviewed by the council and either approved or denied.
C. Endangered species will have their known ranges be illegal to hunt, fish, trap, or otherwise catch and kill animals in under penalty of a fine, minimum of 1000 T. The exact amount will be decided by the court on a case by case basis.
D. Endangered species will also be illegal to deliberately kill under threat of minimum 1 months jail time, in addition to a minimum 5000 T fine. The exact amount will be decided by the court on a case by case basis.
E. The Konis Prawn will be the first species on the Tegovian Endangered Species List.
