History Protection Amendment

20260718-1 \\ ??? words \\ Rejected \\ No summary

History protection amendment
Preface: Throughout history, it’s been made clear that with chance, control is always increased. That was once exemplified in the cautionary tale “1984”, and one of the main points is on the subject of rewriting history. That is what this amendment seems to protect; history must be real. Also this amendment is approved by Schrodi, felt like I should say that.
§1: Definitions
Section preface: An important section to ensure there is no confusion within this amendment.
a: “History” is defined as real events which are proven to have occurred in the past that have been documented in some way.
b: The “Wiki page” for TeenGovernment is a catalogue for this history, that can be edited and updated by anyone at any time.
c: “Fake history” is defined as conceived that is being treated as history or affects actual systems but is untrue or conceived by people with no real basis for the event having happened.
d: “Natural History” is defined as events and nature that in lore predate History, and does not create Fake history.
§2: Protection
Section preface: A section that establishes the protections to history and written information.
a: No fake history may ever be written into law in any context that does not make clear that it is nothing more than myth and/or stories.
b: No government agency may be formed to create Fake history, or replace any history with Fake history.
c: The Minister of Documentation holds the responsibility to ensure the information on the Wiki stays truthful and is not misleading in any way.
d: No “lore team” or similar organization that serves to artificially force the creation of fake history, or false events as well as culture without any basis in reality, involuntary to the people it affects can never be created, and if one is created it is to be immediately abolished. Culture and events do not extend to facilitating natural culture, encouraging forms of artistic media.
§3: Punishment
Section preface: Punishments are important to ensure that this act is not to be breached, and actually protect this amendment’s contents.
a: In the event it's discovered that a citizen intentionally defiled the Wiki or intentionally attempted to falsely alter written history, they may face a ban to restrict their ability to make edits on the Wiki.
b: If the Minister of Documentation is discovered to have intentionally defiled the Wiki or attempted to alter written history, they may face immediate impeachment and termination from their position and may face a ban to restrict their ability to make edits on the Wiki.
§4: Exceptions
Section preface: This section is made to make several exceptions for the sake of freedom of expansion.
a: Worldbuilding that does not affect history, such as a map, land formations, and biology are free to be created, as long as they do not involve the creation of fake history.
b: “Natural History” is not considered fake history, as it does not affect Regular History.
